Your Ticket to the World of Metalworking

Ini­tial­ly planned for Sep­tem­ber, the pro­duc­tion of mem­ber­ship cards had to be post­poned by a few weeks. Design adjust­ments, tech­ni­cal test runs and inter­nal adjust­ments were to ensure the best pos­si­ble com­bi­na­tion of qual­i­ty and func­tion­al­i­ty, yet put us — and our mem­bers — to a test of patience.

How­ev­er, the long wait has been worth it: As a mem­ber of the Club of Met­al­work­ing, you no longer have to reg­is­ter for EMO Han­nover. Your per­son­al club card is already acti­vat­ed for a free sea­son tick­et to EMO Han­nover 2019 — just use the bar­code on the back of the card to gain admis­sion to the exhi­bi­tion grounds. You can use the card to take advan­tage of a num­ber of oth­er ser­vices on the exhi­bi­tion grounds, such as the free cloak­room or the lounge of the Club of Met­al­work­ing. The cards are cur­rent­ly in pro­duc­tion and are expect­ed to be shipped from the begin­ning of December.

A few days ago, a dis­cus­sion board on the Club’s web­site was launched. Reg­is­tered mem­bers can exchange their thoughts on the world of met­al­work­ing and inter­na­tion­al trade fairs. Here you can, for exam­ple, find like-mind­ed peo­ple to arrange joint activ­i­ties dur­ing a trade fair stay abroad. Or offer hotel rooms after the expi­ra­tion of the can­cel­la­tion peri­od to oth­er trade fair vis­i­tors who are still look­ing for acco­mo­da­tion. If you have found an inter­est­ing con­tact, you can con­tin­ue the con­ver­sa­tion via the con­nect­ed chat function.

The Club of Met­al­work­ing has also recent­ly become active in the social media sec­tor. On Insta­gram, we post inter­est­ing pic­tures from the world of met­al­work­ing, backed up with cur­rent infor­ma­tion and new per­spec­tives. With­in a few weeks, more than 120 fans have already become enthu­si­as­tic about the chan­nel — join in and fol­low us!
