Your Ticket to the World of Metalworking

Initially planned for September, the production of membership cards had to be postponed by a few weeks. Design adjustments, technical test runs and internal adjustments were to ensure the best possible combination of quality and functionality, yet put us – and our members – to a test of patience.

However, the long wait has been worth it: As a member of the Club of Metalworking, you no longer have to register for EMO Hannover. Your personal club card is already activated for a free season ticket to EMO Hannover 2019 – just use the barcode on the back of the card to gain admission to the exhibition grounds. You can use the card to take advantage of a number of other services on the exhibition grounds, such as the free cloakroom or the lounge of the Club of Metalworking. The cards are currently in production and are expected to be shipped from the beginning of December.

A few days ago, a discussion board on the Club’s website was launched. Registered members can exchange their thoughts on the world of metalworking and international trade fairs. Here you can, for example, find like-minded people to arrange joint activities during a trade fair stay abroad. Or offer hotel rooms after the expiration of the cancellation period to other trade fair visitors who are still looking for accomodation. If you have found an interesting contact, you can continue the conversation via the connected chat function.

The Club of Metalworking has also recently become active in the social media sector. On Instagram, we post interesting pictures from the world of metalworking, backed up with current information and new perspectives. Within a few weeks, more than 120 fans have already become enthusiastic about the channel – join in and follow us!
