BeNeLux networking day at METAV 2020

The BeNeLux states, above all the Nether­lands, are North Rhine-Westphalia’s largest trad­ing part­ner. This is hard­ly sur­pris­ing, as region­al prox­im­i­ty and high stan­dards on both sides open up attrac­tive sup­ply and coop­er­a­tion oppor­tu­ni­ties. For this rea­son, METAV will be used for the sec­ond time as a plat­form to fur­ther cul­ti­vate and improve eco­nom­ic rela­tions in the field of pro­duc­tion tech­nol­o­gy between the Benelux coun­tries and North Rhine-Westphalia.

On the first day of the fair, for exam­ple, a meet­ing between com­pa­nies and net­works from Benelux and exhibitors at METAV will take place. After­wards, par­tic­i­pants will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to take part in var­i­ous guid­ed tours on the top­ics of umati, new poten­tials in man­u­fac­tur­ing, qual­i­ty assur­ance as a build­ing block of Indus­try 4.0, and digi­ti­sa­tion in voca­tion­al training.

The net­work­ing day will be round­ed off by a match­mak­ing event in the after­noon. Inter­est­ed com­pa­nies and vis­i­tors can reg­is­ter for this event in advance of the fair under the key­word benelux@metav2020.
